Katherine was busy playing her kindermusik drums when Carter yelled "too loud" at her. He was doing his homework at the time and trying to concentrate. Katherine had heard me tell him to do his homework earlier and so she paused for just a second after he yelled "too loud" and yelled back "Do homework Carter!"
My husband told me this one earlier this evening. It's more embarrassing than anything, but I did laugh.
During church yesterday Ed took Olivia to the bathroom while I was leading the music. There was another father in the bathroom changing a diaper who heard everything. Olivia just finished going potty when she rather loudly told her daddy, "Don't touch my poop! Don't eat my poop dad, it will make you sick!"
Ok this one isn't for the drawing since I know I already commented but last night Katherine was playing the recorder and Carter yelled "too loud!" She yelled back "I PLAY Music!" It was too cute!
Ryan was wrestling with the boys, and Ethan kept saying, "I'm pregnant, I'm pregnant!". Ryan finally asked him what he thought being pregnant meant. Ethan replied, "It means you get hurt really easy." So funny! We couldn't stop laughing. I'm sure he thought that because Ryan is always telling them they can't wrestle mom because she is pregnant and will get hurt.
I have always had music in my life, beginning with piano lessons at age 5. I was involved in many choirs in high school and college. I have also taught piano extensively for the past 8 years, both individually and in group-settings. I feel that music is a crucial element that encourages physical coordination, intellectual growth, builds self-confidence and inspires other developmental milestones. Early interactive skills and activities are the basis for a great foundation in all areas of your child's life. I took Kindermusik classes with my 2 youngest children and loved the time I had to focus on them and bond through musical activities through out the week. Music is a wonderful way to enjoy the world around us!

ReplyDeleteOne of my kids colored the faces on our nativity set blue. I would have cried had I not already reached my exhausted limit for the day.
ReplyDeleteI just love it when my little girl is going potty and she is singing I Am A Child of God!! I smile every time!
ReplyDeleteWell, Elijah told me I have a fat butt. That made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteCorbin yells "Abre" at his bedroom door every morning and after his nap--instead of "Open" Thanks to Dora :P
